After determining that it was the right thing for me to do, I had to rule the patients consent to begin the process. I then wore my apron for the purpose of protecting my clothes from any spillages that would out of the blue have fallen on my clothes. I washed my hands and positioned my patient on an appropriate head so that I could effectively start administering the injection. The process involved selecting the most appropriate site to inject and was done once the doctor had also certified that the patient required the injection. The process of injecting the patient began by cleaning up the selected area with a swab of alcohol and ensuring that the needle had no air bubbles.
